Craftsman tabs ImageWorks to promote seasonal array of power equipment.

The Challenge

Leading tool brand Craftsman approached ImageWorks Display with an intriguing challenge: Attract and educate consumers around the Craftsman V20 line of more than 100 outdoor power equipment products — products ranging from small trimmers to large mowers, all running off the same battery pack. In addition, do so within the highly competitive and variable display environment of Lowe’s stores through multiple seasons.

The Solution

Working collaboratively with Craftsman, the ImageWorks team landed on a modular endcap design and graphic treatment solution that could accommodate all endcap display sizes throughout Lowe’s stores. Promotional and educational text was sized to fit the smallest displays, and pre-printed markers enabled easy-to-manage trims where necessary. A static front panel featured a permanent display of a trimmer and blower, while a movable rear panel flexed between a mower display in the summer and an off-season display including chainsaws, hedge trimmers and other smaller products. These products were secured by removable product trays which came with the display and could be stored within it when not in use.

The Result

This co-creation effort resulted in a dynamic attention-getting display that flexed with the seasons while showcasing the full breadth of Craftsman’s innovative V20 line. Craftsman expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for the patience, flexibility, support, and expertise ImageWorks provided in creating the ultimate custom retail display solution.
